After receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree for Photography, Film & TV from London College of Printing in 1985. I became a freelance photographer specializing in Sport. My first ever commission was with The Times newspaper covering the UK National games in 1985. I then went on to freelance for The Sports Council and then a host of Fleet St newspapers, some of which included: The Sunday Times, The Observer, The Independent, The Guardian and The Evening Standard. In 1986 I started to work regularly for the Mail on Sunday newspaper. Here I covered major sporting events and traveled extensively around the world. I have also taken part in news, feature, royalty and fashion projects.

Since 1998, I now concentrate on producing Digital Fine Art Photographs which I print myself and Stock photography for Fotolia. I use either a 16 or 24 megapixel digital camera for my work and edit in Adobe Photoshop (my digital darkroom) & Adobe Lightroom 5. My current aim is to refresh my love and interest in Black & White photography and to produce work that reflects this. I still also enjoy working with film using medium format cameras.
