HDR Photographs

30th June 2011
I've been trying a technique called HDR (High Dynamic Range) Carefully applied, this imaging can create visually stunning pictures which blur the difference between reality and illusion. HDR imaging is the process of taking 3 or more photographs of a scene at various exposures, then merging them into one file. So the entire photograph can look crisp and detailed, from highlights to midtones to shadows. So photographers needn't sacrifice any part of their image.

The effect can look over developed & surreal but I am experimenting by trying to add it at lower levels for certain photographs.
